The Austin Air Bedroom Machine® was used in clinical trials at the University of John Hopkins to reduce Nitrogen Dioxide levels in the homes of local residents. Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) is a gas often present in homes where there are gas stoves. High levels of NO2 are particularly dangerous for people with COPD. The gas can dramatically increase symptoms of coughing, wheezing and chest tightness. The results were dramatics. NO2 dropped in the kitchen by 27% and continued to stay low for the length of the study. Within a week NO2 levels in the bedroom dropped by 23%.
In a second study at John Hopkins, the Bedroom Machine ® was placed in the homes of women, living with a smoker, who were either pregnant or with very young babies. Again the results were impressive. THIS IS THE BEST PURIFIER, I USE IT IN ALL MY ROOMS; NOT JUST THE BEDROOM. AUSTIN AIR SYSTEMS IS WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH ON PURCHASES! I OVERPAID AND THEY CALLED, TOLD ME, AND REFUNDED MY MONEY. SUCH INTEGRITY IS HARD TO COME BY IN TODAY'S WORLD. THANK YOU AUSTIN AIR

Thank you Austin Air! I am extremely grateful for the superbly built product. We had our son scheduled for surgery to remove his adenoids and glands in his nose due to extreme allergies, they stayed inflamed and enlarged. Our son is only 6 years old and suffered daily with allergies. Out of desperation I pored over material about HEPA filters. Around the 1st of this year I settled on your bedroom product. It took a few weeks before my son started seeing a difference, but wow, what a difference! He has gone from waking up snotty, sneezing and suffering. To waking up perfectly normal. We went for our pre op appointment 2 days ago and the surgeon is so pleased with his results that he is postponing his surgery!! We will take a wait and see approach. If you are trying to decide on a product go for it with this one, you will not regret it! Just remember to get the product and give it time to clean your environment, and give your body time to calm down from whatever it's been exposed to. It may not happen overnight but over time you will see fantastic results! We will be buying more these products and I highly recommend them to anyone.

This is the second machine we purchased in the last six months. One machine is upstairs in our bedroom. This machine is downstairs in a larger room. The air in our entire house is cleaner and we are no longer coughing! Our daughter has a machine in her classroom. The children profit from the filtering of their classroom air! The Bedroom Machine® by Austin Air Filter is our most comprehensive filter which features a 5th stage of filtration designed to give you and your family better quality sleep.This filter is comprised of a true medical grade HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arresting) filter surrounded by a blend of carbon and zeolite mixture as well our HEGA (High Efficiency Gas Arrestance) military carbon cloth. The HEGA cloth provides an extremely large surface area for the adsorption of chemicals and gasses. The carbon and zeolite blend removes chemicals gasses and odors. The HEPA filters 99.97% of all particles down to 0.3 microns in size.

Everyone sleeping better, including our dogs!
We noticed a positive change the first night we had this. We all slept better and our one dog, who had been snoring for the past year, stopped snoring altogether and even stayed on top of the covers so he could take in the clean air.
